A new 90x90cm canvas painted in Oil. Preferring built up 50% linseed washes to

keep the grain of the cotton. It gives a very old look to the work and a nice finish. Really hard to appreciate from a photo though. Blending letterforms into the landscape

New York 2008

Late 2008.. My pregnant partner (Georgette) and I headed over to NY for a spot of inspiration. I always swear I am non-conformist but I painted a few bubble letter style pieces there in respect to the home of graffiti. I brought the inspiration back to Bristol and hit 1 up at the Weapon of choice show and followed up with a projection on the side of the Tobacco Factory- upfest in 2009.. Again this is part of how I work, it seems boisterous but it's not meant to be offensive..... I will give more of an update on this at a later date.

Drop a Clone

Back in Oct Kid Zoom (Australia) and I produced this piece in Stokes Croft area of Bristol. There was also a small stencil put up from Remo (Australia). Drop a Clone has many meanings for me but primarily it means break a mould. It was a pleasure to paint with KZ, for on a street level I feel we share the same sort of values for diversity.
